Im Muhamad Hafizuddin Bin Haris, 2217175, from the Kuliyyah of Architecture and Environmental Design (KAED).

I'm currently in my 5th semester in the Department of Urban & Regional Planning. Majoring and focusing in the sector of Urban Design & Heritage Conservation, Environmental & Geo-Disaster Management, Agricultural Development and Geographical Information System (GIS).

Originally from Penang and went to Bukit Jambul High Performance School as my secondary school back in the days. I'm the only child in the family, that's all about me!

A day before the semester starts, I was invited as a speaker at the Malaysia Urban Forum which was held at the Armenian Street in Penang.

The forum that I joined are focusing on the SDG 11 which is the Sustainable Cities and Communities. The forum was mainly about the flood that occurs in Labis, Johor.

I was the Project Manager for the Fourth Level Base Planning for Labis, I worked with the ADUN Labis and designed a Flood Evacuation Center based on my fieldwork.

The main point of this forum to show on how we could make a city more livable and more sustainable for the upcoming years

As one of the KAED student, I surely need to join some of the events organized by the KAED itself.

I joined as a participant in the KAED Pop Run which was held on 26th of October. The event was nice with lots of merch and fun to run along with my friends

SDG 8 : Decent Work and Economic Growth

This talk was organized for the Urban & Regional Planning student to give the insight of what would happen in the industry or the working field ahead of us now.

The invited speaker which are the registered professionals gave a very good talk about the working life and the ethics or any of the tips on how we could improve the working life for our own benefit.

SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, By bringing students from different years together, it promotes collaboration and partnership to achieve common goals, fostering a strong, cooperative community.

It is a bonding session between all years in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning. It is a tradition among all URP student to do it every years. A nice experience for sure

We organized the Annual Grand Dinner for this year! The dinner promotes all races to be included as the main theme for the dinner. We want every person that attend the dinner feels included regardless of the races.
