In this book, every chapter is drawn in a different art style but it still allows the author to tell the story in a smooth order.

Chorus 1 (Chapter 1) - The artist uses squares to spell out the whole title of the chapter. This theme of a square binds the pages within that chapter. We can also see how the squares come out of the intrument. Each instrument has different colored cubes. One is pink/one is red.

Chorus 2 (Chapter 2) - The artist uses more realism when the people or objects are close. On the first page where the chapter is introduced, we can see the lined hairs and the different lines under his chin to show depth. On the next page, the ping pong paddles are very detailed as well as the ping pong ball. A few pages later you can also see that when Bird was asked to play, his eyes got bigger and so did the facial changes change. Later in the chapter it becomes a abstract blend of colors showing how free everyone is while Bird is playing music.

In the Outro - The artist uses a dark theme to start the chapter then contrasts it with neon birds and shapes. This shows how he is finally happy with his music.
