Thesis Advisory Meetings are a component of the Thesis course.
Students work in this self-led project , independently and in groups where they evaluate each others work regularly. At intervals advisors join the groups to provide feedback through a series of discussions and presentations. As a teacher Typically I teach by building confidence and skills through repetition and practice, allowing student to present work in a series of iterations that build their skills each time resulting in greater proficiency and abilities.

This project, COLLECTING COLOR was originally called Detroit Color, but with some students working remotely, we renamed it. It will perfect for blended learning. Students can work independently on the brief outside of the class time, and in their location and then share the work while in the classroom. The organization of the images takes a lot of time to master, students will need to share ideas together to come up with new arrangements and methods for their grid. We have given students options for how to arrange, they can opt for a monochromatic scale of an analogous scale as you see in the example.
The image shows the first page of the project.
