Although right now I think I belong in the CEHD college, I don't know if that's where I will end up in my senior year. With that in mind, my goals right now are to find many majors that interest me and not be scared to do something that is out of my comfort zone! I want to learn as much as I can in the next four years so I am prepared for whatever career path I take. Some future areas of interest I have include things that connect with athletes and allow me to help others be the best version of themselves. Although I don't know exactly what she likes about her career, I do have some assumptions. She finds excitement when she can help many athletes recover from injuries quickly. Firstly, I am an athlete, so I have experienced it from the patient's side. After seeing what PTs do, their personalities and actions are things that match with mine. They are hard-working, pay attention to detail, and most importantly, love helping others. Those are all traits I have and continue to grow. As well, I am passionate about sports, so having the opportunity to work with athletes is something I would enjoy.

Education beyond a BA usually includes completing a bachelor's degree and then a doctoral program in physical therapy.


Usually, PTs spend time moving around with their patients, examining them, showing them exercises, and more. As well, they can spend some time at their desk if they make rehabilitation plans for their patients, want to do research to grow their knowledge, and more! Overall, it is a pretty active job - I love that aspect of it!
