Apart from listening to them, we could also check in with them asking them questions to clarify our doubts or to make sure that we have heard them correctly. Then, we can provide the necessary support that is more tailored to address the needs of the students and the class yet the teachers will not be burnt out at the same time. Lastly, regardless of the success of the intervention with the child in the initial stage, it is important to provide words of encouragement and celebrate the fact that teachers are willing to be onboard with you. This may help to motivate them to be on the same page with the team to support them as well as the child.
