Landscape photography is part of the art of image making, which can include environmental portraits, architecture, still life, and street photography. In the past several years, Murray has developed a devoted following, consistently drawing enthusiastic reviews on the largest online platforms for Island photographers, including his own Facebook and Instagram pages. The motivation came from seeing what other photographers were charging for their services and realizing that they could charge less than they were charging! Working with film cameras and running darkrooms for community newspapers meant many hours of working in confined spaces with exposure to some dangerous chemicals.
