The main thing I enjoyed the most in the class was when we would come together in teams to practice skills such as splinting and vehicle extrication.

The least thing I enjoyed in the class would be having to read so many chapters but hey, thats how you learn and retain all of the information.

I was surprised by how much I have enjoyed this class.. so much that I decided to take a detour in my college plans to seek a firefighting and paramedic certification.

To incoming students I would say what everyone is probably thinking, STUDY, STUDY, STUDY! High school goes by quick, especially your senior year and before you know it, it will be time to take your EMT certification Exam. The class is not hard if you do your work on time, ask any questions you have, participate in all the skill practices, study for the senarios, and learn how to have fun with it. You will do your best and pass this course with flying colors if you gain a passion for EMT.

I enjoyed how we were in Teams at the beginning of the year because we got to know one another and get comfortable with each and everyone.

The least thing I enjoyed was all those chapters that we had to read.

I was surprised by how much skills we had to do and all the terminology we had to understand.

An advice that I would like to offer is make sure you study at all times and make flash cards. For me personally having flashcards I learned a lot betting and it’s a good way to remember you subjects.
