<title>a.	Which of the procedures discussed in that activity would be most appropriate for gathering information about the situation selected: teaching journal, lesson reports, surveys and questionnaires, audio and video recording, or observation?I think that it would help me as a teacher to understand that specific student’s behaviour to create surveys and questionnaires for the students to develop in class, from which I could understand better why is this situation happening and have the opportunity to find different options that could encourage not only this specific student but all of them. By knowing what they prefer I could design my classes in many ways to motivate students to participate. With these activities I could find ideas and also get to the center of the situation why my student doesn’t want to sit up front or why doesn’t he participate actively in class.</title>

Advantages 1.Investigates problems in realistic settings. 2. Easy and quick to complete. 3. Because of the promise of anonymity, participants, in this case students feel more free to answer questions honestly. Disadvantages 1. In many ways, surveys and questionnaires are inflexible. 2. Dishonest answers. 3. Meaning of questions not fully clear. </title>

<title>Which of the issues in question 1 would be suitable for action research?I consider it would be interesting to investigate and do a research about &quot;the most common reason why students don&#39;t participate actively in class&quot;. It would be challenging to find different articles or studies about this topic and being able to compare situations and conclusions about different research papers.</title>

<title>b. What are the advantages and disadvantages of the procedure you selected? Which of the issues in question 1 would be suitable for action research? Advantage: The advantages of applying surveys and questionnaires are those of being able to collect first-hand information which will be of great help when conducting research. Another advantage is that the information can be collected in a faster and more accurate way. Disadvantages: The disadvantages of applying reviews and questionnaires are: If the surveys or questionnaires handle open questions, they can create difficulties when collecting the results. Another disadvantage would be that students do not analyze the question in depth and respond in a pertinent way.</title>
