After hurricane Harvey many states tried to save the enviormental loss first but many efforts were made to contribute to a community centered recovery trying to rebuild structures and help everyone who was imapcted weather it was small or large. This mainly reflects the Anthropocentric value system because we mainly valued the recovery and growth of humans but still helped try to save the enviormental loss through replanting, regrowth and donating to tree farms and ranches helping them recover from this disaster. The local support also can represent a ecocentric solution value.

Harvey caused a total of 121 billion dollars in repairs costs, rescue cost, and damages. There were also very many water damages like water pollution there was large amounts of heavy metal in floodwater that flowed through Texas midlands. There was also lots of toxic air pollution due to chemical spills after hurricane Harvey. Many animals and people lost habitats causing a loss in land due to flooding and growth of wetlands. This effected climate change in many ways like warmer ocean temperatures and higher sea levels, this also caused a long term buildup of green house gasses by burning fossil fuels during the rebuilding of these destroyed cities.

Hurricane Harvey was destructive in many ways but it mainly effected habitat loss, climate change, and development loss throught many places. During Harvey the extreme flooding caused development loss making more flooding territory ruining homes and new development land. Due to the super warm sea tempeatures in Mexico the water helped fuel the storm that lead to increased rainfall and flooding. The National Climate Association predicted that future climate disasters could be related to Harvey due to the impact and size of the event and the dent it left in USA, Mexico, and many other places causing it to become one of the biggest hurricanes to ever hit the USA.
