Each student should drop a pin on a Spanish-speaking country (there are 21!). Since we have more students in class than Spanish-speaking countries, some of you may choose to research a state in the United States or US territory where Spanish is widely spoken (California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Florida, New York, Puerto Rico). After you identify a country/state/territory that you want to learn about, pin it, and look online for travel information about your country and make a note to share with your classmates on the map. You can include links, pictures, videos, songs, or whatever catches your eye about the best places to visit and what to do during a trip in your country. Be creative, have fun, but keep it scholarly! Click on the pink circle with the plus sign to get started. Remember, one student per country/state/territory! After you finish your post, comment on two classmates' posts and state what you liked about their contributions. I'm so excited to see what you find and share! Please make sure to add your name to your post and comments!

The number one place to visit in the Dominican Republic is "Punta Cana" it is about a 6 hour travel time if you take a nonstop flight from Philadelphia and costs about 600 $ for the tickets alone. there are many hotels you can stay at that range from 100 - 250 $ a night in Punta Cana. The star Cuisine that should at least be tried while in the Dominican is Sancocho a Classic at every special occasion it's a stew with seven different meats, another famous dish is the Dominican flag the national dish, it has a simple base of three ingredients of rice, stewed meat and and some red beans and then the rest is up to you add whatever you like to the top. After you're done eating it's time for all of the fun you can have while there from just laying around tanning on the beach to scuba diving under the water to see all of the vibrant life below the surface of the water then back up above the water to visit the ecological parks with the beautiful greenery and all the animals around you.
