Each side has two chambers. The two top chambers are called <strong>Atria or Atrium (Singular). </strong>The Atria receive blood from veins. The two bottom chambers are called <strong>Ventricles</strong>. Ventricles pump out blood.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The origin of the heartbeat is from the <strong>Pacemaker.  </strong>It is a group of cells located in the right atrium. The pacemaker sends out signals for the heart to contract. When you are exercising the pacemaker increases it speed. Why? Your muscles need oxygen to keep working. The rapid heartbeat supplies blood, that carries oxygen, to the body.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The blood takes two loops. Firstly, it goes from the heart to the lungs to get oxygen. The right ventricle is the one that pumps blood to the lungs. And the left atrium receives the oxygenated blood. When the blood has oxygen, it turns bright red, not blue. It travels back to the heart. That is the first loop. Now the heart, or the left ventricle specifically, pumps blood throughout the body. Then the blood is returned to the right atrium and back to the heart. That is the second loop. The blood travels to the right ventricle from the right atrium and the two loops start over again.</div>]]></description>
