Both frogs explained how they want to transform back to humans but they don’t know how. The crocodile knew the right person to help (Mama Odie). A few days later the evil witch doctor made a plan with his ghost friends, he wants them to go look for the prince for his DNA so that his partner can transform back like him. Luckily a firefly named Ray saved them from the ghost. They all became good friends and continued with their trip.

Since the song was a failure, Mama Odie decides to give the duo what the want and takes them to her gumbo pot brew where she locates a princess that will break the curse through a kiss from Naveen. The princess turns out to be Charlotte La Bouff, who is the "Princess" of the Mardi Gras parade, being that as her father is the King.

Prince Naveen promised to Tiana that when they're back as humans he will get her the restaurant that she wants.when ghosts finally captured prince Naveen they put his DNA on the necklace and gave it to his partner, they trapped Naveen so he wont get out. Tiana went out looking for Naveen just to see him getting married already with her friend. Tiana was so upset she felt betrayed. Tiana doesn't know that that is not Naveen but when the bug figured out he went to tell her Naveen is trapped the person that your friend is marrying is not actually him. Ray took the necklace away from the man and flew as fast as he could to show Tiana. Ray told Tiana to run and to break the necklace before the doctor comes and takes it away. That’s what Tiana did but the firefly didn't make it. The evil witch doctor crushed him to death. He tried convincing Tiana to give him the necklace but it didn't work so Tiana threw the necklace to the floor and it broke. The evil witch doctor was finally gone.

But time was too late but Charlotte La Bouff still tried but didn’t work. Both frogs didn’t care as long as they had each other. Both frogs found out that Ray was dead and felt terrible. The next day came and both frogs got married. Turns out that their kiss transformed them back to humans. Tiana and prince Naveen were very happy, and they got married again as humans.
