Today I woke up for the 3rd time and decided that I needed to build something. My name is Leonardo, by the way. I live in a rather comfortable home, with good tunnels, a sleeping nest, and my wheel. The giants that sometimes feed me refer to me and my brother, Loki, as "gerbils". But anyways, I decided today was a building day. I jostled awake Loki so we could get working, and strolled outside. Our sleeping area is a wooden ship that we gnawed open and insulated with some bedding. Loki did the gnawing and I had done the rest. But today, I wanted to build a new tunnel. We use tunnels a lot, actually. If a hawk comes by (you never know) we can escape into a tunnel, we can store food in them in case winter ever comes (you never know) and they are also just fun to build. I am... Well, you probably don't know what I am. I'm a Black-Footed Cat. No, not just a normal cat with dark paws. I'm really small, and I live in savannahs and jungles. I see a creature crouching in a bush a little ways away, and I hiss and find the tiniest place I hide. Since I'm the smallest cat, I can fit into really closed in spaces - I'm not scared!
