         <description><![CDATA[<p>Procedures for hearing aid listening check, including tools needed:</p><p>-A hearing aid listening tube, or listening stethoscope is used to listen to the hearing aid. This way, another person, typically who is not hard of hearing, can verify that the hearing aid is functioning.&nbsp;</p><p>-A hearing aid blower is used to remove extra moisture from the earmold tubing.&nbsp;</p><p>-A small device can test the hearing aid battery to ensure it is functioning properly.</p><p>-Additionally, there are microfiber cloths, wax remover tools and hearing aid dehumidifiers that can be used to clean/maintain hearing aids.&nbsp;</p><p>General parts of a hearing aid:</p><p>Earmold, ear hook, microphone, speaker, amplifier and battery.</p><p>Troubleshooting tips and techniques</p><p>Hearing aids, especially for students, should be checked daily.
