summary of the how stuff works "how cd/dvd reader work"

i chose this article because i want to know how cd reader work. the technology is a cd/dvd reader. a cd/dvd reader works by a laser running over the reflective suffuse and when the laser goes over a bump on the cd/dvd it interprets the bump as a 1 or a 0 and that tells the player/computer to play this data. one new thing that i learned is that a catalog of the data is at the center of the disc and tells the reader what it should load before playing the cd/dvd. i hope you learned as much as i did from reading the article as you will reading this.
