Dr. Curtis Schondelmeyer earned a bachelor of science in small animal science from Delaware Valley University in 2001. Since receiving his DVM, Dr. Schondelmeyer has worked with several corporate and educational organizations. He now serves as the University of Connecticut-Storrs’ director of animal care services as an attending veterinarian. With the institution, which he joined in 2018, he provides anesthesia and surgical support to investigators while also consulting on bio-safety, regulatory matters, and animal care. Before this, he was a senior scientist and veterinarian at Biogen, positions he held for three years. Alongside his work at the university, Curtis Schondelmeyer is involved with a number of professional organizations, including the Academy of Surgical Research, where he is a committee member.
