Many rappers talk about all these extravagant lives and all these perfect women but Kendrick talks about showing the real in people. His lyrics read "I'm so fu****' sick and tired of the Photoshop, Show me somethin' natural like afro on Richard Pryor, Show me somethin' natural like *ss with some stretch marks" This goes against the so called grain of todays pop culture and Kendrick got praised from many people for his work. This Relates to Ralph Emerson's work "Nature" when he writes "the remembrance of the city of God which had been shown! But every night come out these envoys of beauty, and light the universe with their admonishing smile." I feel as if this relates to Kendrick's work because we get so lost up into the city but at night the true beauty of people come out. In this verse by rapper nav he is talking about growing up and struggling and his teachers not helping or believing in him. He is also showing how he now is successful and spends his money on his diamonds and likes to live large.

He started apple computers in 70's and from there on kept inventing new things. He followed his intuition and his gut feelings that one day apple will be mainstream. Some of the most famous examples may be the Ipod, Iphone or Ipad. The Ipod came out in 2001 following with the Iphone in 2007 and the Ipad in 2010. Of course many people in 2001 thinking reasonably thought there no one someone can make a touch screen device capable of playing music and all these crazy things. Of course Steve Jobs being the Trail Blazer he was decided to do it anyways. This is true in "Conclusion" by Henry Thoreau, He says "I learned this, at least, by my experiment: that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours." I think he is saying if you do things in confidence you will eventually succeed. Steve jobs didn't let all the news outlets and people saying he cant do things stop him. I could live on what I have already made for the next few centuries.”  He also donated $35 million of his own money to the special effects team of the movie The Matrix, because he felt that they deserved more reward for the work they did. In many cases if you see a famous person you freak out and have to get a picture or tweet but if you happen to see Keanu Reeves on the subway on your way home from work its a normal everyday occurrence . He is caught frequently using subways, buses or a moped to get around the city as seen in the picture. He also frequently eats out fast food or drive through Chinese.  In conclusion by Henry David Thoreau He says "Why should we be in such desperate haste to succeed and in such desperate enterprises?"
