         <description><![CDATA[<ol><li><p><strong>ESL</strong></p><p><strong><em>This week</em></strong></p><p>Students continued with Unit 6 - All about bugs!<br>Students continued focussing on questions to ask and answer (using do/does, have/has).<br>Students identified rhyming words with the long e sound. <br>Students listened to and read the story Little ant. <br>Lesson 6.5, 6.6</p><p><strong><em>Next week</em></strong></p><p>Lesson 6.5, 6.6Students will continue with Unit 6 - All about bugs!<br>Students will review content from Unit 6. <br>Students will have the end of Unit 6 assessment on Tuesday (18.2.2025)<br>Students will start with Unit 7 - The world around us. <br>Students will describe a picture, talk about what people are doing, talk about caring for the Earth.<br>Language focus: present continuous; with (accompaniment), future simple will<br>Vocabulary: planting, watering, picking up, bin, recycle<br>Lesson 7.1</p></li><li><p>MATHS</p><p><strong><em>This week</em></strong></p><p>Students continued with Unit 10 - Calculations<br>Students continued to practice finding the relationship between addition and subtraction through inverse equations and fact families. <br>Students reviewed multiplication and division. <br>Students started to explore the relationship between multiplication and division through inverse equations and fact families. <br>Students reviewed finding fractions of numbers.<br>Lesson 10.1, 10.2, 10.3, 10.4</p><p>They also learn a bit about patterns: regular and irregular pattern</p><p><strong><em>Next week</em></strong></p><p>Students will continue with Unit 14: Probability and Patterns. <br>Students will describe the probability of something happening using the key words: certain, likely, even chance, unlikely and impossible. <br>Students will complete regular and irregular patterns.</p></li><li><p><strong>SCIENCE</strong></p><p><strong><em>This week</em></strong></p><p>Students completed Unit 3 - Materials. <br>Students will start to formulate an understanding that materials can change. </p><p>They also use bar chart to score the experiment result when changing material property.
