A paraprofessional dedicated to each grade level or every two grade levels would help students who are struggling with the foundational skills in math that classroom teachers aren't supposed to address because they are no longer part of their curriculum - ie math facts. Many of the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students are currently at a 2nd grade level. Additional intervention is desperately needed.
