The highest court is the supreme court.  The supreme court is made of 44 members. The second highest court is the regional courts and lowest courts are the district courts. Laws in Kazakhstan are different than many other countries. Some actions that are illegal in Kazakhstan are same sex marriage, possession of drugs, and taking photographs of government buildings. Another thing to note most radio stations in Kazakhstan are ran by the government so you will not have much different types of radio. The Kazakhstan military protects Kazakhstan and keeps order in Kazakhstan. You must be 18 years of age to serve in the military and most people serve for 2 years. The different branches of the Kazakhstan Armed Forces are land forces, navy, and air defence forces.
