Quote: "I'm so hungry I can eat a horse!"

In this poem, the author wrote, "I'm so hungry I can eat a horse!" By saying this, the author is showing the character's extreme hunger. As a horse has a very large size, it indicates that the character can consume a very large sized meal. By comparing a large meal to a horse, the quote clearly illustrates how hungry the character is. For that reason, I feel that the quote is effective.

I think that this sentence or phrase is effective because the author is trying to say that the seasons are changing.
