In my opinion, this story is not as scary as it's just sad. It really upsets me how just the lack of support, understanding, and help from people around can cost someone their life, and despite that the events in the book being fictional, all the problems that were brought up by the story are still very real. It delivers a clear message that it's unacceptable to stay blind to cruelty, and it's important to be attentive to things before they escalate to the point of no return.

In the end, I think this novel might be liked by those who are interested in detecting injustice, who want a deeper understanding of how things affect people's mind and actions, or even those who are just curious about the beginning of Stephen King's career. It's recommended for ages 14+ because of the mature themes, but I think you also need to consider your individual tolerance to such things that I mentioned earlier.

The same thought — that habits are built in 4 steps — keeps reappearing, only in a slightly different form. Many of the stories are interesting on their own, but together they start to feel repetitive, as if the author wanted to make sure nobody misses the point. In fact, most of what the book says could be summarised in just several pages without losing much of its meaning.

Nevertheless, the message remains valuable. It reminds that even the smallest effort matters if done regularly, and that identity grows from what we do, not what we plan. For people who are just starting their journey of self-improvement, Atomic Habits can serve as a strong motivation and an easy entry point. But for those who have already read similar works or reflected on their own behavour, it might feel slightly overexplained.

One of the best things about the book is how it shows both humanity and cruelty in the same character, making you thought-provoking.

In my opinion, all this universe of trilogy is stunning, but this part of books is the most intricate, because there is an incredible action which reveal characters from all angles and raise serious issues about social society. I also like the intriguing descriptions of how our world might be in the future.

i don’t finish this book yet, but i already love it. of course, i love Dostoevsky's style itself, his oppressive atmosphere, hopelessness, dark colours of life, uncliched characters, but also i like because it shows how strong the human spirit can be.

it’s not only about punishment, but also about forgiveness and understanding. dostoevsky makes you think about how people change when they lose their freedom, and how important it is to stay human even in the hardest times.

i suppose the main point is that even in the darkest places on the planet, you can preserve your inner light and remain human.
