Maybe it’s time to see him in proper lighting.” This can show that Juli actually wanted to get to know Bryce better than she had before because of the sycamore tree that he was planting, or maybe because he had tried to apologize to her at the dinner. Just really nice neighbors, that play together, and hang out everyonce  in a while. I wouldn’t consider them friends because I don’t think that Juli will ever fully trust him again after the eggs, sycamore tree, library, and basket boy auction. I just think that they will be FRIENDLY. Even though Juli is going to look at him “in the proper light”. It isn’t like she is going to totally forgive him. If she can’t fully trust him, then they are not friends and definitely not more than friends. From Bryce’s perspective, he defiantly wants to be with her because the text says “I just want to be with her”. This proves, Bryce thinks that eventually Juli will forget about all the mistakes he has ever made. I do not think this will happen, but it could be a possibility. I just don’t think that they could go from enemies to best friends that quickly, or even ever.
