Dept wise there are so many changes from construction plans to job inclusions to changing the dept names, what is the vision? What are the changes. It's important keeping us all in the loops and decision making so everyone has an equal chance at things.

There are a lot of changes happening within the college as a whole. Much of this has to do with changes in administration, and with these changes, communication about mission, vision, and plans for the future sometimes don't reach us until the plan has already been set in motion. This leaves us behind a bit and forces us to pick up the pace to catch up. It would be helpful to know where we are going before we get there.

It is helpful to know what we have done right and well so that we can repeat it. If we are only told what doesn't work, or what the problem is, we are forced to come up with novel solutions that may or may not work.

Cultural introductions allow for an emotional outlet that helps us to understand each other. Cultural introductions allow for the traditional hegemonic practices of colonialism to be deconstructed, thereby allowing marginalized voices to be heard.
