French people use this ingredient in many confectionery products, cakes, cookies... We could see some products made with almonds in the supermarket and in the bakery. It was very curious to me because in Spain we don't use them.

On the other hand, in the Mediterranean countries, people cook with olive oil. 

The reason is the weather, in centre Europe, it is very cold and olive trees can’t live in these places because trees die if the temperature drops many days below zero.

They are enthusiastic "GUIDES" to churches, museums, monuments....

In my opinion, I think they do a great job and are a great example to follow. 

Old people can contribute with their experience to society.
