It has a surrealist quality to it because she is in the water and her head has come up gasping for air. It was also smart to put a greenish-blue filter on the face because then the whole picture seems more realisitc. The inverted cityscape adds a freshsness to the double exposure. Only the side of the face and the rest of the body is covered by the cityscape which is a good balance in my opinion. Her hair and her face are still present so it looks really interesting. The toddler looks so innocnet and cute and the calm and serene scene inside his head makes this picture almost look magical. I like all the colors present and the forest scene but I wish some of the features were present. Maybe they could have been combined differently because the sky continue to go on even when their head stop. I thin they shoudn't have exteneded the boundaries outisde of the head and face. I took both of those picture. After a lot of effort, I was able to combine them the way I wanted on photoshop. I kept the background white so the sole focus would be on the subject which was me. Overall, I liked this photo but maybe it could have been overlapped differently or I could have chosen a different picture of a landscape or cityscape to make it more interesting but I chose this one because it seemed abstact and different. I then combiend the two and used photoshop to get this affect. I like the pictue and how I overlapped it. If I were to improve on it I would have a a different background and eliminate the tiny shadow but it does add detail and make it look more interesting.
