Concept 
The Present Perfect is used to talk about actions that began in the past and are still ongoing in the present

Using for and since
For → is used to express the duration of a period of
time.
• Since → is used to express the exact moment in which the action began.

Structure
Afirmativa: Sujeto + have/has + participio pasado + complemento
Ej: She has lived here since 2010.

Negativa: Sujeto + have/has + not + participio pasado + complemento
Ej: They haven’t studied English for two months.

Interrogativa: Have/Has + sujeto + participio pasado + complemento?
Ej: Have you worked here since last year?

Would Rather

Concept

Would rather means "I would prefer" and is used to express a preference.

Rules of Use

Would rather + base verb (without "to") → to talk about what one prefers to do.

I would rather stay home. = I prefer to stay at home.

Would rather + subject + past verb → to talk about what you prefer someone else to do.

I would rather you stayed home. = I prefer that you stay at home.

Examples

(+) I would rather eat pizza than pasta.

(–) She wouldn't rather go out tonight.

(?) Would you rather travel by plane or by train?

Present Perfect with Information Questions

Concept

These are wh-word questions (what, where, how, etc.) using the present perfect.
They are used when we want specific information, not just yes/no.

Structure

Wh-word + have/has + subject + past participle?

Examples

What have you done today? →¿Qué has hecho hoy?

Where has she gone? → ¿Adónde se ha ido ella?

How long have they lived here? → ¿Cuánto tiempo han vivido aquí?

Who has written this book?  → ¿Quién ha escrito este libro?

Simple Future (Will)

Concept

The Simple Future is formed with will + base verb. It is used to express actions that will occur in the future without prior planning or predictions.

Usage

Spontaneous decisions
Promises/threats
Predictions → It will rain tomorrow.

Rules

Always use will + base verb.

Do not use "to" after "will".


Structure

Affirmative: Subject + will + base verb.

Negative: Subject + won't + base verb.

Interrogative: Will + subject + base verb?

Examples

(+) She will travel next month.

(–) They won't play football tomorrow.

(?) Will you come to the party?
