I chose this quote because it's powerful for me because it shows the loneliness of a human being and reading this quote made me wonder how was it for the Jewish People the death around every corner the never ending death of the people around you and the unwaivering loyalty that was lost through punishment and Corruption how do you keep hope in those situation how do you keep trying even tho your all alone in your survival I wonder how terrible it was for them to break there loyalty to each other for any food how do you keep trying even tho your suronded by people they were all alone.

This camp is an american camp when after pearl harbor held citizens with Asian and European ancestors who were suspected of disloyalty and connected the the attacks on Pearl Harbor this relates to night because they were and ethnic/religious group like the Jews which got persecuted and brutally tortured and killed like the Asian prisoners they both went through around the same punishment i bring this up because there are never good sides to a war just a ever growing statistical ladder of death.

This Song connect's with the people of the holocaust because it was about the survival like night the whole idea of this song is the thought if your last moments you remember what you missed what you want to me it shows the perspective of a soldier who missed his family back home but has come to the realization he wont like in Night as Eliezer realizes death comes he always started to remember what he loved which gave him hope to live to me they depict a weaker and a stronger person what i mean is as the Russian soldier dies he ponders and misses life and accepts his upcoming fate in Night you have a strong young man defing odds and using hope to keep him alive writing and establishing his own fate.

I choose this photo because it shows me death and shows me the human behind it it reminds me of the photos of skeletons getting cigrattes for the first time it reminded me of when they got out even those there kissing death they still are human and I like the depiction of so close to death you look like it. To me it alot gives character to the dead reminding us there not just bones but were a living breathing being once.

I really like this scene because to me it is almost like the moment when Elizier realizes his father isn't gonna live like how his father pushed him away in the last moment like Captain Kacy pushed Jojo away they sacrificed themselves for the younger generation to live the it wasn't as brutal for Jojo as it was for Elizier but both of their father figures died in relization that the person the son the child in front of them will live and do better then they have.

I choose this book not because of all the atrosities that happened but because it shows another perspective but of the same want family in both the books both of the main characters are using hope to live to see another day with family in the book Mila has it with her son even tho she was sent to war she survived for her child and in Night Elizier is surviving hoping and working to survive for and with his father he does everything he can to be with his family member like in diamond eye
