POST!

She, her mom and ALL THE QUACKERS recently moved to Indiana (from Miami, FL) to live a much more economical life…  a life with more purpose & happiness.

Throughout Dessy's life journey, when life threw her hot potatoes; she found solace, comfort and joy in a rubber duckie… each carrying the gratitudinal story of what it took to become part of the collection & (literally) continuing on the journey with her on the dashboard of her jeep!

…Igniting not only a sense of achievement & happiness in whole-being for herself; but also “quacking-up” the countless roadside passers-by like me!

So happy I didn't "duck-out" and miss out on the opportunity to have learned from you Dessy! It's "plucking awesome" how you master the "hot potatoes" with an armor of cute rubber duckies!

ESSENCE OF BEING — Hosted by Burge Smith-Lyons

Essence Of Being Event – Essence Of Being Event           **The “essence of being” in Burge Smith-Lyons’ work refers to a holistic, conscious way of living that integrates self-awareness, purpose, and alignment with your core beliefs to create a life of abundance, inner peace, and growth.

By happenstance, Jacob and his son walked past me as I was attempting to patch-up the sidewall of my camper, which was separating from its shell. – Unable to reach the tippy top of the camper to patch-up that portion was keeping me from continuing on my HA(t) road trip (tour)...                                                                             I asked Jacob for help. He asked what the problem was and got to work; explaining that his purpose in life was to help bring awareness and a little happiness to those like me… needing assistance with one’s “rigs.” After all, “rigs” were his expertise!

Sending much love, gratitude & appreciation Jacob's way!

How do I know this? We were both getting our cars serviced at Nissan in LaCrosse, WI, and we mindfully chatted the chew; swapping gratitude & happiness stories…right there in the “wait while we work on your car lounge.”

Mike Wolden, a member of his church community, shared that his experience with cancer profoundly changed his perspective on life. He emphasized that cancer allowed him to recognize and appreciate the ways God has worked in his life, both before and after his diagnosis. He explained; the illness slowed him down, giving him time to reflect, focus on his faith, & experience a deeper sense of joy ‘n peace than ever before.

In his YouTube Video titled "Cancer Was The Best Thing That Ever Happened To Me", Bing Videos Wolden recounts how facing cancer strengthened his reliance on God; prioritizing spiritual growth over worldly distractions; describing the journey as a blessing, -highlighting the challenges of treatment and recovery ultimately refined his character and brought him closer to God.
