         <description><![CDATA[<div>Everybody knows what the television is. But if we come back 100 years ago, it wasn't true. In fact, as late as 1947, only a few thousand Americans owned televisions.<br><br>The "first" televisions appeared in the end of the nineteenth (1800) century and in the early twentieth (1900) century.  There were mechanical television. <br><br>The world’s first electronic television was created by a 21 year old inventor named Philo Taylor Farnsworth.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>
