Surat An Nahl ayat 126
وَاِنْ عَاقَبْتُمْ فَعَاقِبُوْا بِمِثْلِ مَا عُوْقِبْتُمْ بِهٖۗ وَلَىِٕنْ صَبَرْتُمْ لَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لِّلصّٰبِرِيْنَ

Maksud : "Dan jika kamu membalas, maka balaslah dengan (balasan) yang sama dengan siksaan yang ditimpakan kepadamu. Tetapi jika kamu bersabar, sesungguhnya itulah yang lebih baik bagi orang yang sabar.

This ayah related to me because if anything that my friends took for granted about me when doing assignment, I will remind myself to always be Sabr and just do the assignment alone. I can be sabr because of my mother have motivated me to face all difficulties, and we know that Allah will not test us if it is beyond our capibility.

We know that Allah will always be there for us. So if anything that we are facing difficulties or feel down, we should argue with Allah by reciting al Quran and solat tahajjud so that we can feel calm.

Student of knowledge should demonstrate respect towards their teacher, even if they are superior in rank to the teachers and apologised.

For example: Immediately admitting mistakes and apologised. Other than that, ready to accept value other perspective in learning.

2. Etiquette in learning

The etiqutte that must be observed when meeting educators is not to talk louder than the educators. Every Muslim need to learn adab before acquire knowledge.

For example: use suitable & appropriate words to use when seeking knowledge.

3. Source of knowledge

Al-quran is the primary source of knowledge. The content of the Quran are completely from Allah SWT. Quran contains everything, some solutions and answers that have inside the quran.

Hadith Jibril mention about Islam, Imaan, Ikhsan, and Science Of Judgement Day. Muslim must do all the pillar of islam because it is our ibadah to Allah SWT and it is important. Allah has mention in the Quran that Muslim must only worship Allah SWT.

This means believing in the one true God, Allah, who is the Creator and Sustainer of all things. He is all-knowing, all-powerful, and ever-living.

Belief in Malaikah (Angels)

This means believing in the angels that created by Allah to carry out His commands. They are powerful beings who help guide and protect people.

Belief in Kutub

This means believing in the holy books revealed by Allah to different prophets throughout history, including the Quran, the final and most complete revelation.

Muhammad

Belief in Kutub (scriptures) is closely to belief in Allah and Malaikah (angels). Allah reveals His guidance through scriptures, which are delivered by angels. Together, these beliefs reflect how Allah's divine will reaches humanity, Allah commands, angels deliver, and the scriptures guide. This system forms a key part of Islamic theology, connecting faith in Allah, His messengers, and His revelations.

Meaning of Ihsan is suitable, beautiful and proper.

Eschatology is a field of study in Islam concerning future events that would happen in the end times

Mukhsinun : Constantly more of Allah’s presence. (Orang yang mengamalkan ihsan sendiri)

Ihsan is important because that we can trust that Allah can see us in anywhere or anytime.

Eschatology is important so that we can trust the judgment day.

Relationship between Ihsan and Iman is based on our moral and etiquette.

Adab towards parents is very important because our parents have takecare of us since we are baby. They put so many effort to takecare us such as give foods, homes, protect and many more. Parents always be there for us in anytime whenever we sad. They also always help us if we face difficulties. We need to do goods so that people will also do good for us.

THE APPLICATION OF IBADAH BASED ON QURAN & SUNNAH

Quran

• In verses 2:21, we must do ibadah so that we can get blessings from Allah SWT.

• In verses 51:56, Allah creates human and jin to worship Him.

• Humans and Jin allah granted freedom of choice.

Sunnah

• Based on al-Bukhari, Kitab Al-Wahy, good deeds have divided into two which are do good deeds with good intention and do good deeds with bad intention.

• If good deeds is done with the intention of pleasing Allah SWT, it can become an art of worship.

THE IMPORTANCE OF NIYYAH

• Fasting

DEEDS

• If we have a good intention, then it is because of Allah SWT

• If we have a bad intention , then it is not because of Allah SWT

To discuss about the Hikmah of performing Ibadah (Salah, Sawm, Zakah and Hajj)

• Salah - Can avoid to commit sin and we will remember that Allah SWT is greater of All Things. If perform solat, it can purify man’s soul. It is based on Surah Al-Ankabut verses 45.

• Sawn - Based on Surah Al-Baqarah verses 183, if we fasting, we can remember that poor people also don’t have food or water. We also can practice to overcome desires. It can refrain from doing Haram.

• Zakah - Based on Surah At-Taubah verses 103, it can purify their wealth to get Allah’s blessings.

• Hajj - Based on Surah Al-Baqarah verses 197, Allah know what good that we do. Hajj can teach humility, patience, sacrifice and oneness and we also can be more closer to Allah SWT. In addition, we can be self purification and repentance.

• WUDU’

(wajib) > 4 pillars of islam (must be in tertib)

- washing the face

- washing both two arms

- wiping over the head

- washing the feet

> Niyyah wudu’

> Mualah : performing each act without long interruption.

• TAYAMMUM’

- wiping the face (niyyah)

- wiping the hands up to the wrists.

Condition for the acceptance of salah

• purity : from major to minor impurities.

• covering the aurah : based on gender, (male : from the belly button to the knee - tshirt with tracksuit), (female : every part of body accept for face and palms - telekung).

• facing towards qiblah : praying in the direction of kaabah.

• proper timing

• intention : a clear intention to perform the specific ibadah.

• sanity and maturity : must be of sound mind and ideally reached the age of responsibility

Pillars of Salah :

• Takbirat Al-ihram

• Standing (if able)

• Reciting Al-Fatihah

• Rukuk : Bowing with hands on knees

• Sujud : Two sujud per rakaat

• Sitting between sujud

• Final Tastahhud (Recitation before concluding)

• Taslim (salam)

• Tomaninah (calmness in each position)

Application of Salah based on situations

• qasar and jama’ (shortened and combined prayers. (zuhr and asr can be shorten to 4 rakaah)

• nawafil (voluntory prayer). (Tahajjud, dhuha, witir) (to enhance spiritual connection)

• praying during illness (can be form while sitting, lying, eye movement depending on ability)

• Sabr (Patience and Forbearance)

  
  

  Sabr means exercising patience and self-control in difficult situations. It involves enduring hardships, delays, or provocation without complaint or anger. For example, imagine a student preparing for an important exam who faces multiple distractions and setbacks, such as a noisy environment or illness. Instead of giving up or getting frustrated, the student remains calm and keeps studying diligently. This patience helps them overcome obstacles and achieve their goals. Practicing sabr helps individuals respond thoughtfully rather than react impulsively, fostering tolerance and understanding in relationships and communities.

• Takrim (Respect and Deference)

  
  

  Takrim refers to showing respect, honor, and reverence toward others. It means recognizing the dignity and worth of every person, regardless of their background or status. For example, a young person who listens attentively to their grandparents and follows their advice is demonstrating takrim. They speak politely and value the wisdom and experience of their elders. Showing respect in this way strengthens family ties and creates an environment of mutual trust and harmony. Takrim also encourages treating teachers, colleagues, and community members with kindness and courtesy.

• Rahmah (Friendliness)

  
  

  Rahmah means showing compassion, kindness, and a friendly attitude toward others. It reflects empathy and the desire to support and care for people around us. For instance, if a colleague is feeling stressed or overwhelmed at work, offering a kind word or helping them with their tasks shows rahmah. This friendly behavior nurtures positive relationships and encourages cooperation. Rahmah helps break down barriers and build bridges between people by fostering warmth and understanding in everyday interactions.

• Ukhuwwah: Strengthening Bonds of Brotherhood

  
  

  The concept of ukhuwwah, or Islamic brotherhood, is deeply intertwined with the purpose of zakat and sadaqah. Islam views the ummah (Muslim community) as a single body, where the suffering of one member is felt by the whole. Acts of charity are tools to maintain balance, reduce inequality, and uphold human dignity. Zakat, as one of the five pillars of Islam, is specifically designed to promote economic justice. It redistributes wealth from the rich to the poor and ensures that no one is left behind.

  
  

  “Zakat expenditures are only for the poor and for the needy and for those employed to collect [zakat] and for bringing hearts together…”

  This distribution mechanism fosters a sense of ukhuwwah by addressing the needs of those who may feel marginalized. When zakat is implemented correctly, it creates a bond between the giver and the receiver, breaking down barriers of class and economic status. A rich man who gives zakat to support a struggling family helps restore their dignity and reminds them that they are not forgotten by the community.
