         <description><![CDATA[<div>Hydrogel is a compound that has been used in different applications from hygienic products, agriculture and wound dressings. Research and technology have discovered new ways to use hydrogel in the clinical setting to create new minimally invasive procedures which pose a smaller risk to patients. This new innovation involves the use of light activated hydrogel to propel the hydrogel mechanism to it's intended destination. From there, the hydrogel could be used to deliver medication, seal wounds or possible regenerate tissue. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This new innovation with the use of hydrogel appears to have great potential. Hydrogel has been and is currently being used in a variety of healthcare settings for many beneficial uses for the patient. In adding the implications for hydrogel with technological advances, it has the potential to open doors for better treatment options for patients. While there is a good potential for the uses of hydrogel, new advancements in technology and treatments always come with a caveat. As the implementation of this new technological innovation increases, it is a rational expectation to encounter downfalls and opportunities for improvement.</div>]]></description>
