I believe it depends on the use made of it. If they are used in the right way, social media can be very useful and can also be a pastime. Furthermore, people who have not seen each other for a long time often find themselves on social media. But if they are used in the wrong way they can represent a serious danger to everyone and what we see shown on social media is not always what it seems to us. Besides, when we make an excessive use of it, we feel the fear of missing out: the fear that you might miss out on something if you’re not online can affect your mental health.

I agree with you Anna. Social Media have now a very dangerously power on us, in a good and bad way. Good because on social media we have the opportunity to express ourselves if we can't or aren't able to do it in real life, we can meet new people and they are also useful for keeping us updated about world's news, but, for the same reasons, if we do a wrong use of them, we enter in a "social world" which is difficult to get out of, we could unfortunately become addicted of them, and that isn't good for our mental health.

Today social media are something that greatly affects our lives, for better or for worse. Thanks to these we have much more opportunity to express ourselves and make our thoughts known to everyone and it is much easier to feel with friends we don't see often. On the other hand, social media can be a very dangerous world, it can pass wrong messages that reach everyone quickly. This is why it must be used correctly, to find out about the things that are happening around us and to spent the time.

I think that social media, if used in the right way, are useful for communicating, interacting with our friends even from afar and for expressing our thoughts and showing our days but excessive use can cause a sort of addiction for those who use, making us spend too many hours on social media. Furthermore, especially children must be supervised by their parents because cyberbullying cases are much more frequent.

I agree with Anna, social media can be useful to keep in touch with distant relatives or make friends with people from other countries. They were especially useful when we were in quarantine and we could stay in contact from our friends every day. however, there are also negative aspects on social networks for example cyberbullying of all kinds is very cammon so we must not make an excessive use of it.

Social media for our society are very useful for spreading information such as: the beginning of a war, the beginning of an epidemic, today's weather, etc. However, as social media can be very useful at the same time it can be very dangerous. Spreading false news to attract audience, and scare people. As a conclucion I don't know if social media is a good thing or a bad thing nowadays.

I think that social media can be so funcional and at the same time so harmful, because thanks to it we can talk to everyone we want, when we want and without pay, we can inform ourselves about many topic, but they can be also harmful because we can found unsafe site which can damage the device we are using and they can make us believe fake news, we can be also victim of cyberbullying, so we must learn to use them correctly and moderately to benefit only from the benefits of them.

Social media are really important in our life nowdays because a lot of people work with them, and we use them everyday to share our life, talk with people who we can’t see, infact they were been and are important in this period where there is covid. I think that also if they are important, they are at the same time dangerous, because with social media cyberbullism borns, that is bullism mainly sent to people that expose themselves on social. Then social media are usually used also by children and this is a big problem because children don’t know what are the dangers, infact they must be controlled. Finally I think that we should use them in moderate way.

I think Social Media are a good way to communicate, obviously It depends on how they are used. They’re useful because they can be used to link up with someone who is far from us or to spend your free time or to get informations from all over the world. But they can also be harmful if they are used obsessively and everyone has to pay attention to what they read online, because not every time it is true.

Using social media has pros and cons. The pros are the fact that we can know what happens all over the world and the possibility to communicate with them and meet new friends, but we have always to be careful because sometimes the person we are chatting with is not who he says he is. The con is that an excessive use can cause dependence, especially to younger people. It's not rare that many kids usually chat on sicial eachother and don't speak live. In my opinion this is a bad thing because it's important to have a contact with other people. In conclusion, social media are not a bad thing if you don't overuse them.

Nowadays everyone use social media and if you aren’t subscribed to any social you may feel like out of the world, because it isn’t just a way to be connected to the others but also a way to be informed about current events, for instance on many social media there are different channels which upload news from all over the world.
On the other hand people may become addicted to social media and spend all their time trying to be constantly online, there are a number of cases in which people develop a real addiction.
In conclusion, what is the best from my point of view is the use of social media in a moderation way and especially in an intelligence way.
