         <description><![CDATA[<div>Info:<br>~ Finland schools started transforming over 40 years ago<br>~ They don't rank, or compare their students and they don't compete between students, schools, or regions<br>~ Where the kid lives doesn't matter as far as their education goes as they have the same opportunities no matter where they live<br>~ The schools are publicly funded<br><br>A normal school day looks like:<br>~ There are no mandated standardized tests (besides 1 at the end of the student's senior year)<br>~ Children spend a lot more time playing outside, even in the winter<br>~ Very little homework<br>~ Less time at school and in the classrooms than American schools so extra time can be dedicated to build the curriculum and assessing students</div>]]></description>

We can't become numb to this.<br><br>&nbsp; &nbsp; ~ Education<br>~ having a small break between terms; like a 3 or 4-day weekend; like almost all of the countries I've researched AND/OR having longer breaks between classes<br>~ have multiple languages available in all school districts like in Nigeria<br>~ having the same education in all parts&nbsp; of the country like Finland<br>~</div>]]></description>
