Ed puzzle is an e-learning platform that can be very useful for teachers. It allows you to take media like videos and crop and edit them. Afterwards you can additionally add pauses with quizzes throughout the video.As a future teacher, I believe that this platform can be very useful. I think that I would use it as a way to introduce topics. For example, if I were to introduce a historical topic like Black History, I would start by finding an educational video that could be used to present very basic information. Throughout that video I would add pauses and insert quizzes. The questions would be about the content of the video and the pauses would occur after important information is transmitted to make sure the students understand.

Quizzizz is an interactive learning platform for teachers that allows them to create quizzes and activities. It has many different settings and options. You can make your quizzes multiple choice or you can also create polls. The reason I would like to use this platform is because I Feel as though I have overused Kahoot and that students have seen and used it a lot as well. I would like a more engaging and innovative platform that also gives students their own space to work.

Classdojo is also another platform that can be very useful. Its uses, however, are more catered to behaviour rather than just learning. It would be considered as more of a gamification tool than a game-based one. It allows teachers to award and deduct points from students for different reasons. Teachers can also give access to the parents, so that they can contact teachers, as well as view their child’s progress. I would like to eventually use this tool as a means of motivating my students and keeping contact with parents. As a child, this resource motivated me to stay on task and so I hope it will be the same for my students.

Canva is more of a designing tool that can be used by students and teachers. This tool allows you to make presentations, posters, and even websites. As a teacher, I’d like to use this platform to make my lessons more visually appealing. I’d also like to teach my students how to use it, so that they can utilize it in their projects and other tasks that may require designing.
