<title>I enjoyed this film! It gave a first hand look at how Tracy and Larry communicate through typing. I love the quote,&quot;autism isn&#39;t abnormality of the brain but abnormality of experiences.&quot; I think this is such an interesting way to look at autism. I also liked Larry&#39;s quote, &quot;listen to my artistic voice and not my autistic voice.&quot; Watching their interactions with one another and with others makes me second guess everything we consider when we are around people. We have certain expectations about how people should act and this film demonstrates that we shouldn&#39;t have any preconceived notions about how people act or communicate. I thought it was so sad that Tracy didn&#39;t have a permanent residence. I hope he is able to find a permanent place to live in the future. It was wonderful that both Larry and Tracy have assistance so they are able to travel and work in advocacy and it was interesting how they got through difficult situations. I loved that Tracy was wearing a Syracuse hat so much of the time, my home town. Their words were so beautiful and insightful and it was so meaningful for them to be able to travel and speak to others all over the world. I was happy they were able to share their stories with educators from around the world so they would be able to understand and hopefully intervene to help students with autism find their communication mode and share their thoughts and find their potentials. I woke up this morning worrying that the traditional way we judge what we will teach a student is by assessing their intelligence using an intelligence test and these tests would not be able to measure the intelligence of these men before they had communication. All students should have access to reading, writing and communication.</title>
