the philippines is known to be a very diverse country. it is one of our core strengths as a nation. at least it should be.

to counteract this, accepting oneself will go a long way in embracing others. we cannot give what we do not have. once self-acceptance is attained, i personally believe all of us will come through for others.

    2. as an aspiring economist, there's a deep sense of negativity that stems from our innate stubbornness

as a nation, we can be pretty stubborn. we are not known to be disciplined people. no matter how righteous and upright the government or the laws are, if we don't follow them, they are pointless. in order to facilitate a positive change, i will connect with the people first before making economic policies for our country. learn their language, their dialects, and establish a proper relationship. this will then start a mutualistic cycle that will yield a positive trust and adherence.

    3. communication is indeed key

as a human being, we need to be alone sometimes. we need a few moments every now and then for self-introspection and of course, to just breathe. i want to call that self-communication. externally, communicating with others, especially loved ones and friends, goes a long way too. family (and real friends) are building blocks of a society for a reason. a proper bedrock of positive relationships can help the world, one communication at a time.
