-Ingredients for thunderstorms:
Moisture
Unstable Land 
Heat from Sun
-Hail tells you if the clouds are cold.
-If the wind is 57 mph, it is severe or bad (in USA)!
-Thunderstorms can create a tornado. 
Extreme Weather (Tornado)
-When cold air mixes with hot air, it creates big thunderstorms. 
-Not all tornadoes touch the ground.
 Extreme Weather (Tsunami)
-When a earthquake hits, it will shake the bottom ocean floor.
-The Bigger the earthquake, the smaller the tsunami!
Extreme Weather (Hurricane)
-When hot air is trying to get away from the cold air, it creates a hurricane!
-If the water is hot, there might be a hurricane forming (Over 78 Degrees).

Thunderstorms
- Under a Thunderstorm, there is turbulence.
- Thick thunderstorm clouds block out the sun, turning if from day to night.
- Higher the storm the more energy it can release.
- Thunderstorms can cover several states.
- Severe Thunderstorms can also cause Tornadoes.
Tornadoes
- Tornadoes happen when cold and hot air meet together. When they do, the hot air stars to twist and turn around the cold air going upwards.
- In the 1900's 20 Tornadoes happen under 5 hours!
- There is a place called Tornado Alley.
- They send remote controlled robots into the heart of the Tornado to see what's going on.
- Tornadoes don't always hit the ground.
Tsunamis
- If a Earthquake is large enough, it can cause the tectonic plates to shift and cause a Tsunami.
- The scientist don't really have a way to know if a Tsunami is coming from the ocean.
- Small Tsunamis happen every once a year.
- We don't know if a Tsunami that can be hundreds or thousands of feet tall. But we think that it won't happen for like another million years.
Hurricanes
- The eye of a Hurricane is calm and peaceful.
- Hurricanes are the most powerful storms on Earth.
- Hurricanes are storms on water.
- If Hurricanes are over 100 miles, It can blow the tiles off a house. Also, A human can barely stand against the drastic winds.

Tsunamis
- Tsunamis form when earthquakes happen in the ocean or near an ocean.
- Scientists aren't always correct when saying "There's a tsunami!".
Hurricanes
- Hurricanes form when cold and warm air mix over water.
- Certain people watch for hurricanes as a job, like the Tornado Hunters.
- Even stunt people can't take hurricane winds.
