Life Before UARK!

I am from Cypress, Texas, a suburb located near Houston. I graduated from Cypress Woods High School in 2023, where I participated in Marching Band, National Honors Society, and took many AP and Dual Credit classes. Outside of school, I worked as a barista at Dutch Bros and was a member of National Charity League. Throughout high school, I have had so many teachers who inspire me, and I would not be where I am without their support and belief in me.

Campus Life!

Being nine hours away from home can be hard at times, but the decision to come to the University of Arkansas is one of the best choices I have made. I am currently involved in Greek life and feel so loved and inspired by the community surrounding campus life. I love attending sporting events and having the opportunity to explore a new state. I am currently entering my Junior year as an English Education major, and I cannot wait to see what my upcoming years at UARK hold.

Although my passion lies with English and secondary education, I am currently working as a preschool teacher! Having the opportunity to participate in early education is very inspiring and has already taught me so much about classroom management and patience. Moving forward after graduation, I hope to teach 11th-grade English and return to Texas.
