    I think that the Nag and Nagaina are planning to have someone or themselves go out into that garden and make sure the man is away if he is they will go snatch Riki-Tikki. And maybe they will take him for something good or bad but what I'm thinking right now is that this will be bad.
 I think Riki-Tikki will respond in a way where he won't show his fear but inside of him he's actually burning up in fear.
