Selected applicants, referred to as “Innovators” herein, will participate for up to two years at a Host Institution on one or more topics related to the integration of solar energy with the electric grid. Stipends are based on appointment level and commensurate with qualifications:

Participants with a Bachelor's degree will receive a stipend starting at $40,000. Additionally, participants will be eligible to receive an allowance of up to $10,000 for education and/or scientific activities, health insurance supplement, and possible relocation travel up to $5,000.

The project term runs from approximately Wednesday, October 13th to Monday, November 19th, for about a 6 week project term. The first general meeting will be on Wednesday, October 13th at 6pm. Positions open include project manager , developer, and designer.

College student volunteers assist with homework, tutoring, learning new skills, and socialization with their mentees.

We are especially seeking multilingual volunteers, as well as students who can tutor in English and math! Many of our mentees are in elementary school and are seeking help with learning a new language or practicing their skills in English and math.

Data processing is growing enormously. From deep neural networks with trillions of parameters to graph processing with trillions of edges and vertices, the amount of memory required for modern processing can easily be at the terabyte scale. Unfortunately, traditional data movement and data security techniques are inefficient or inappropriate at this scale.
