I think this because in the hunger games you have to fight and do whatever it takes to survive. In life the world is never going to wait for you and your going to have to do whatever it takes to survive. If you own a house and you are on the verge of going broke because you have to pay for your daughters medical bills life isn't going to wait for you to make more money, you are still going to have to pay the bills for your house. If you don't meet what the savage world wants then you well be punished no matter what the circumstance. Life doesn't care if you are genuinely a nice person and just struggling or if you are a greedy, selfish person it is still going to take what it wants.
