Political machines were an example of a corrupt group of power hungry men that helped their friends get elected and stay in power. Many politicians in these machines were not qualified and stole money from taxpayers. However, some argue that they were good for cities because they provided services like food, jobs, garbage pickup, to poor neighborhoods when no one else cared. Pretend you are a public relations person for any political machine. Write a short paragraph putting a POSITIVE SPIN on political machines.
