Today, Mrs. Stratford explained the introductions by showing news clips to explain some parts that could be the reference for my group project. Then, we matched some related words with the definition. Moreover, she suggested the class make a visual diary for Media Studies, which I am doing right now.

From my team template, we got some feedbacks from the teacher, expanding and fixing some bits in the google doc. The problem I faced was during the SWOT paragraphs, I'm not sure what kind of Opportunity I have for this program.

We have finished our shot list for the project. However, one of the teammates are doing 0 work in this project which kind of makes me frustrated though she can do the film. I kind of feel like we need to rush because of how much plans there are to finish such as interview planner, contents elements, and location planner. We need to finish all of them above by this week because we are planning to start the film next week Monday Period 5.

Organization of interview

We are now organizing to film the interview to Antonia who is the main manager of the program, Kai Kitchen. I added more questions then before by the fact the audience would be able to know more about Kai kitchen. Me and my teammates are planning to organize the filming of the interview at Thursday P3 which is March 12th 11:30. However, I am worried about production happening in school because I am part of the band, meaning there is a chance that I am not able to attend for the filming. I have limited resource for the project.

I couldn't work on the project planning yesterday because of my workshop, leading me to motivation for today's work. We are now need to manage with Production Schedule but half of my teammates are not present in school with me right now, making me struggle to plan because some people may not be able to come to the date I choose for the schedule. However, my media studies teacher, Ms Stratfold, told me that we don't have to write specific dates yet, giving me less pressure.

Today, all my teammates are here which means we can organize our production schedule. We got many feedbacks about the basic structure for production schedule which benefited me to comprehend about the schedule more. However, I'm a bit annoyed about how one of my teammate isn't even trying to be included to listen the feedback like her body language is fully showing us that she isn't motivated about this subject, leading me down a bit because this is a group project. Also, the others does not do any other works unless I ask them to. These atmosphere is making me overwhelmed because I feel like I would need to organize all the works and one who chooses to do it when I want other teammates opinion. Oh well, it's a society. I would need to work this out and make everyone included to do work which is more fair.

Today was the first time to actually film one of the scene for the project. The scene was about the interview towards the Kai Kitchen student manager, Antonia. We had about 8 questions but we only did 5 of them because I personally thought that 3 of those questions were unnecessary, plus she has told us that she could afford to let us know if we can interview the team leader of the volunteer people for more opinions and the information about the Kai Kitchen. However, half of our teammates was not here. I know one of them was not here for their instrument lesson but I'm not sure about another girl who hasn't put effort for this project. Anyways, the interview filming was done quickly, leading us to put the poster for social activity. Putting posters around the school was piece of cake, leaving us a few minutes of free time to do our diary.

We made a google form for whole school students to see who can we interview for the Kai kitchen. Reason for this form is that we can film not only volunteers but also students who goes to Kai Kitchen often so we can show audience how it actually is like. I assume that this will also help with advertising and letting year 9's know about the program. Moreover, hopefully if this program gets well known and many students are aware of this, it would be gorgeous if we can get fundings somehow.

Mrs Ganley did not post the survey, so we emailed Mr Groom who is year 11 dean. Also, we emailed Antonia to access Master's house after school on Wednesday to film our shots, adding we have sent location planner to her. NEVERTHELESS, our teacher has suggested that it is also good to have a filming in actual Kai Kitchen in the morning, supporting that all the teammates does not need to come. Personally, I felt that this was UNFAIR BECAUSE IT IS MOST LIKELY THAT I'M THE ONLY ONE WHO WILL ACTUALLTY COME IN THE MORNINGS. Oh well, it's society. I would still need do them even if I do most of the work. :) (smile is not a smile)

We have gotten a response from Mr Groom but he did not post it in to the google classroom. Therefore, we are going to send them by ourselves! We have gotten the permission though which means it is fine. Also, we are planning to do filming on Wednesday after school in the Master's house. However, I have my viola lesson as well as production show so I should probably need to arrangement for schedule.

We have gotten some response from students which is improvement for our interview! About 5 people said yes for the interview which means we can arrange the time for individuals!! However, I feel like we are getting behind for our filming and stuff. Also, one of our teammate ditched the class because I saw her walking around the school when I went outside to go to bathroom. I really hope her attitude changes but it seems like it wouldn't really change. Now, I am thinking to start editing because we can't really film other scenes when other people doesn't show up. I hope tomorrow we do a lot of filming scenes.

We learned how to edit in Adobe Premiere Pro to start editing so during the period was mostly just learning and loading footages. After school, we went to Master's House for the interview filming and there was two other students who came even though it was all of the sudden! After we filmed the intro scene because we could only access Master's House until 4.

We upload footages from yesterday and start editing the intro with BGM and some sound effect. There was some random lines(?) in the video but it seemed not too bad by the fact it looked like a mood Vlog person. We have finished editing the intro and edited some of Antonia's interview scenes.

Today, me and Annie went to the Master's House early in the morning to film the actually Kai Kitchen. I personally felt like I was a paparazzi and creep because we were filming all the students in the room...but we still managed to get good shots which was impressive. There was a shot of close up of a volunteer's hand of pasting jams onto the toast which was one of my favourite scene. We uploaded the footages later on when we had Media Studies and we also asked the volunteer manager for Tuesday who was one of our friend. She mumbled in some bits but I get her because it was a sudden favour. We uploaded footages of her interview scenes. HOWEVER, one of our teammate is not here since yesterday which makes me bit frustrated as well as another teammate who only focuses of individual works but it's fine(actually it is not as fine but all goods). We have changed our plan of how the video would be like (from funny and memes to serious and infographic). This is because we thought we shouldn't make the project too unserious by the fact it is an issue that is sincere problem. Also, we accidently delete all the interview scenes so now we need to refilm them all and I think our computer got hacked because there @re 50me w3ird stuff g0inG 0n.... JUST KIDDING it's April fools day! But one of the interview scene got deleted... Never mind, one of my teammate fixed it.

Today, Mrs Stratford is away so we couldn't access the headphones for audio edit which led us to edit visually such as transition. One of us suggested to allow each people to get turn for editing because not gonna lie, I was doing the edits. I was struggling a bit so LETSS GOOOOOO LESS WORKKK. Hehehe. I don't know what to write now but since it seems a bit empty, I will add some tmi. Never mind, I don't have tmis.

Today, my computer has an issue with its Wi-Fi, so we are losing time to edit. To prevent wasting time, we chose to take a picture of the background of Antonia's Interview scene to remove the unflattering window at the back.

I suggest splitting the group in half to edit the video and research the problem. However, our teacher is talking about what we will do and stuff, meaning we are losing our time doing those things. Also, we have to interview Mrs Collett for our project, so we kind of need to hurry because we are falling behind. Also, I thought the photo of Kai Kitchen written on White whiteboard was a bit off by the fact that the whiteboard wasn't like a rectangle, but rather it was more like a trapezium. To solve this, I made a graphic title of Kai Kitchen on Canva to replace it.

Today, Annie is doing the main editing, and I'm giving some suggestions while writing the script for the project. I believe she will do well because she is an expert on editing than most of us. However, Justine and Annie are focusing mostly on the intro, which gives me some anxiety about the fact that we might not be able to finish it until it's due. Therefore, I'm gonna do editing tomorrow and I'm going to focus on texts for interviews about who the person is, what the question is, etc. I hope we will finish our project in time. Moreover, next time when teammates, other than me, do editing, I may suggest to them to focus on the ending part because the introduction and the ending scene is the most important of all, I reckon.

Today, I was editing the video, introducing interviewers by adding texts. Moreover, I was quite happy because our teammates were communicating on script and the video of how they need to match, plus some new ideas coming up. However, I reckon we need to meet during lunchtime because now there are too much ideas to handle to finish the project in time. I mean obviously the project is going to be better but they are all useless if we don't finish the project in due. Also, I asked one of our teammates ,who seems like she doesn't know what to do, to try editing tomorrow because we are all taking turns. I asked my teacher to print some of the interview planners and previous plans to put them in our folder. AND one of the problem I'm worrying of is our shot-list because it's completely changed. To solve this, I suggested if someone changes something, they should add the changement to the shot list but it seems like they forgot about it because they were too busy fixing some bits of pieces of how new ideas would work in our project.

Today, Annie and I filmed extra clips for our project because we edited some bits of the script and didn't have a shortage. We filmed the car parking area because we were going to talk about how the Kai Kitchen did a car wash event to raise funds, writing "Fundings" on paper, to continue talking about funding. And putting my $10 note in a tip bucket to talk about how people can offer some tips. Meanwhile, Justine was editing for our transition, BGM, and clarity of talking (interview scenes). However, Ash didn't come today. Justine got some feedback for our project to develop its clarity in general, such as showing the graphs and people talking towards the camera. Now, Annie and Justine are working on interview scenes while I'm writing my visual diary. And I reminded them to put our shortages from today into the computer. Also, from the changes, there are a lot of things to do in our shot list because it's mostly different from our old shot list.

Today, Annie and Ash are recording voice over. Meanwhile, Justine is editing and I'm fixing bits of pieces in shot list. We are doing this to let us move forward for our project to be done because it is due this week. I have finished changing beginning sections but there are too much to write because even when the scene is about Antonia's interview, the scene changes every second and I need to do that to a lot because there are serval scenes of interviews. Also, I'm suggesting to Justine when she is asks me for some opinion.

Today, we were trying to finish the project. I emailed Antonia about if she can come tomorrow at anytime and sign our location permission form for our paper work. And I added some bits for our media studies schedule about what we have done and when we have done it. I worked on shot list to add scripts and now I'm looking for extra clips of students doing meetings. I think they are hesitating because of their different opinions but I'm guessing they are working on it by them. I'm tired a bit but I will still try my best to help them finish our project.

Today, we are staying in Media Study class whole day to complete our project. I had a rehearsal on the first period, so after that has been finished, I came back and worked on paper work. I filmed some shots of students walking yesterday so I uploaded them to Media Studies Project file. While I was coming back, I saw Antonia so I asked her if she can come during the interval to do a form for media study which is the location permission form for letting us use Master's house to film our project.

Today, Mrs Stratford gave us some advice of how there was miscommunication in our group which I do agree. She taught us how to do the rolling scene for credit at the end. Me and Justine are now focusing on finishing the ending scene first. Meanwhile, I made the ending scene of "Thank you for watching!" with adding some animation to it. Than we just filmed little more extra scenes for our ending of Justine writing Website and Communication then circling it.

I finished the ending credits and added some transitions for more smooth flow. After, me and justine worked on our shot list which took most of the lesson. We finished doing it roughl, sorting the orders of the shot lists. Also, we got feedbacks from our peer which are:

BGM choice was really good it was matching the video vibe
The voiceover was clear. I could hear what the person was talking about
There were some repeating scenes but it was not as noticeable

Then we added some scenes from our shortages that we didn't use before to make sure we aren't repeating scenes.

Today, we are getting feedback from Mrs Stratford of our project. Meanwhile, I was sorting the 1MES production schedule template because there were some empty spaces, plus changed some dates because some of them had changes.

Me, Annie and Ash finished the final shot list with all the details and needs. We asked our teacher to print them to put them in out pink folder. And then we worked on our digital story board which too awhile because we had like 56 shots to put them in our story board. We couldn't finish them today because we didn't had much time left so we will continue tomorrow.

Today, there was an issue with our computer to export our project which made affect to our final project for our poster with QR code. So, Justine, who was making the poster, put fake QR code in the poster for now so we can add the poster in our video which means later if we can export the final video, we would need to replace the QR code again and then export the video again to submit our final project. I screenshot the scene of saying error and sent them to our media study teacher so she can send them to one of the IT people to fix the problem. Then I screenshot each scene in our video for our storyboard and post them to a doc so later on, everyone can access the photos without me having to email each of them.
