Usually Polar Bears will evolve in places which are cold and freezing. The type of skin, body, fur etc (body parts) are chosen according to the weather each one is living. It is not only related to the environment adaptations but also adjustments with different creatures or insects living in that area. attuning with each one of them, which includes finding food (hunting), protecting yourself by predators etc.. It isn't very easy to accommodate either in terms of the needs including weather and mainly everything that comes under interaction with each one living in the same type of environment.
