Every day I walk to class with my headphones in and every time I drive the radio is on. Music is with me on a regular basis. 

My favorite genre of music is hip-hop also known as rap and R&B also known as soul music. If my title didn't give it away, I also like when these two genres are combined. To me, it makes the most melodious music. 

Music to me means life. Music brings people together and is a universal language. Its given us ways of expression and liberation. Jaden Smith's song 'Fallen' to me hits it spot on. In a more modern way, you can hear the hip-hop beats while the background vocals and lyrics give it a more soft sound. Instead of blending his own vocals to create a soulful feeling, Russ used the vocals of Shirley Bassey singing " I wish you love".
