For example the sun is MASSive (has lots of MASS) and has a very strong gravitational pull on all the planets that orbit it.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I learned one that the farther away an object is from an other they have less gravity but the closer together the objects they have more GRAVITY. I also learned you weigh less on the moon than on say Jupiter and the reason for that is Jupiter has more MASS and much more GRAVITY than the moon so you would be pulled to Jupiter but if you were on the moon you have to be careful so you don't drift off into outer space.</div>]]></description>

I also learned that the center of an object, it's core, did not produce a gravitational pull. It was the matter of the object its self. The last thing that I learned that the planets in the solar system don't get completely pulled into the Sun, because of centrifugal force, the planets keep revolving around the Sun. </div>]]></description>

If there was no gravity on Earth supporting us we wouldn't be able to do the things we love because everything would fly away. For example, I love cheer leading and I'm a flyer so that means I get thrown up high in the air and get held up by my friends, if there was no gravity i would just fly away and not come back down. I also wouldn't be able to swim in the summer or ski in the winter. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div> I learned that the gravity on different planets not only depends on how large a planet may seem, but on the total amount of mass. For example some of the gas planets seem so much larger,making it seem like those would have more gravity than others, but it depends on the mass. <br> I also learned that all sports relate to gravity and mass in some way, shape or form. It could be gravity that pulls you down from your jumps with freestyle skiing, a basketball falling through the net when you throw it instead of floating away, gravity affects all of these sports. Even sports that seem like gravity or mass works against it, it still helps them. Like in gymnastics, you would essentially think that gravity works against you, but you need a little to at least come back down. Otherwise you would just float off into space!</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Two things I learned about gravity is that from the Olympic lab is that the more mass the planet had the more weight it like on Earth so on Jupiter I would not be able to jump far but on the moon I would be able to jump even higher than I can on earth because of its mass it has and the weight on it. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Two things that I learned during this lab was that the more mass an object has, the stronger the gravity is. This was interesting to me because I thought it just depended on how large the core of the objects was, not the whole object. Another fact that I learned was that when you might be on the moon, that you could jump farther on there than the Earth. This was interesting to me because the moon seemed like a planet that might have been small, and Jupiter was large, but Jupiter was larger giving a larger gravitational field making it easier to jump. I learned many other really interesting things while doing this experiment, and hope to learn more soon!</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Two things I learned during the Space Olympic lab was one, that many many sports wouldn't be possible if we didn't have gravity. This is because gravity effects everything we do and it's all around us. Without gravity everyone and everything would just fly away. Another thing I learned was that All the sports we play would be so much different on other planets. Some of them might not even be possible. The gravity around effects our weight, so on a larger planet like Jupiter, A sport like gymnastics wouldn't be possible because you wouldn't be able to jump/fly high in the air. But on the moon, it would also be difficult cause you would be too light so your jumps wouldn't be controlled. ┐(͠≖ ͜ʖ͠≖)┌<br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>2 things i learned during the lab  was that when we were jumping if we had no gravity we would float away and never come back one of the newest thing i learned was inertia which is a mass that is sluggish so if you dropped a medicine ball and a normal ball inertia is causing it to land at the same time which the medicine ball has more inertia which is dropping slower and the normal ball has less inertia.</div>]]></description>
