2) NCO203 Critical Thinking and Problem Solving: ensure we know how to handle different and difficult situations at workplace.

• for certain workplaces we do not need to think that far in terms of providing a solution for world hunger. which we are embarking on in our critical thinking module

• Not applicable, we understand the idea of developing that skill but can more toned down to suit our level of thinking! HAHAHA

Effective Writing NCO102 -> Communication is an effective skill that is universal, because it allows us for discussions to be clear and concise.

b) Limitations/ gaps -> With the increase of ai usage, there will be unexpected developments that we may not be aware of and will not be touched in these modules, this may indicate the lack of awareness for viable solutions for technology development.

Limitations:

-Limited usage of up and coming technological advances in the mods.

-Modules are not as interpersonalised

Interdisciplinary Processes for a Better World (NIE201)

This course will equip students with fresh, holistic perspectives and solutions for challenges to better prepare students to be more accepting of diverse perspectives they may be exposed to in the global front.

Living with Community (NCO101)

This course helps students understand diverse perspectives through topics like multiracialism, identity, and global diversity. It also highlights the importance of sustainability, which is crucial as global warming and other environmental issues grow. Students learn to make sustainable choices, such as supporting green initiatives, to help prevent further harm to the planet.

While community engagement is strong, digital ethics, online behaviour and information literacy such as identifying misinformation are not part of SUSS core curriculum. This is critical as students are entering workplaces and societies where digital trust and responsibility are huge issues.

a) it teaches us about the fundamentals of developing and writing good essays which will prepare us for various academic and professional tasks. This is important as communication is a key aspect in many jobs and we will very likely have to write many essays, emails and reports in our professional lives next time

a) in the modern society where digitalisation is starting to take over, it is important to know and understand how each of us (govt, companies, individuals) play our role in the society and how we can contribute to the community

NIE351: Interdisciplinary Global Studies - Students get to learn complex global issues through the different perspectives which fosters critical thinking and adaptability. Through this course, they gain a broader view of the world by examining topics such as culture, sustainability and technology.
