1. Macbeth expresses guilt for killing Duncan as he starts seeing things and hearing voices in his head.
2. The mood of act 2 is dark, this is shown by people talking about the strange noises at night such as screams they believed from the owl's or the wind in the chimney.
3. The dramatic irony is when lady macbeth pretends to faint after she finding about Duncan's murder even though she knows about his death.

1. On lines 71-72, Macbeth said, "To know my deed 'twere best not know myself. Wake Duncan with thy knocking. I would thou couldst. I used this quote because Macbeth was saying how he wishes Duncan could be woken up by the knocking.
2. On lines 129-131, Malcolm said, "What will you do? Let's not consort with them. To show an unfelt sorrow is an office which the false man does easy. I'll to England." I used this quote because Malcolm said he doesn't believe them that the guards killed Duncan and he thinks one of them may have killed him and it shows how dark and ominous the mood of Act 2 is.
3. On line 41, Macbeth said, "I'll bring you to him." I used this quote because Macbeth told Macduff that he will bring him to Duncan when Macbeth and the audience knows Duncan is dead.
