1)      Zhengbin Xu; if people ask me how to pronounce my first name, I tell them Jim Beam, the whiskey.  Ironically, I rarely drink.  

2)      Home, sweet home.  I love traveling but home makes me feel grounded.  

3)      Panda or Dog.  I held a real panda before; I love dogs because they are empathetic and seem to know human emotions.  

4)      I rarely drink alcohol but margarita if I have to pick one since it does not taste like alcohol. 

5)      Bicultural:  I grew up in Sichuan, China and lived in the US for 13 years.  Each culture has its own unique place in my heart.   

6)      Boiler Maker: I graduated from Purdue with a PhD in Biomedical Engineering.  Boiler Up!

7)      Father and Husband: my husband and I have been together since 2007 and we have a three and half year old daughter.  It is inspiring to see the whole world through her eyes. 

8)      Regulatory Affairs Professional: Instead of pursuing an academic career, I become a regulatory affair professional in medical device industry.  I love working with cross-functional teams and also the regulatory agencies in bringing innovative medical technologies into global markets. 

9)      Traveler: I love traveling with family, experiencing different cultures and cuisines. 

10)   I need a Course Key for Cengage MindTap eTextbook.  No other questions for now.  I am looking forward to the discussions and learning.  

11)   Flying.  I am overdue for a trip back to China to visit families and have authentic Chinese food.

10) What outstanding questions do you have about the course? … I liked the introduction so far and little I read about, so very curious to expand my awareness about “Marketing” as a subject.

11) What are you looking forward to most once Covid-19 lock downs are over? …. People acknowledging it wasn’t too bad and little bit of self-control helped all of us as a community come out better!

 4) Coca-cola, because I’m addicted to the taste and it’s the perfect mixer; Rum and Coke, Jack and Coke; Champagne and Coke…ok maybe a bit much.
 5) Husband: I've been married to my wife since 1994.
 6) Father: I have a 22-year old daughter who’s finishing her bachelor’s degree in the next 20 months
 7) Son: I’ve had the same mother for all my life.
 8) Traveler: I love to travel see new and historic places and try new cuisines but the lockdown has prevented a lot of pending trips, concerts and fun that help to get through life.
 9) Patriot: I started my career in the Military and retired as a Reservist 4 years ago.  So, I’m a Veteran of Operation Desert Storm and Operation Enduring Freedom and I love the country and the rights that my service defended; but I unequivocally do not support civil disobedience and the misery and mayhem it makes innocent citizens suffer.

 The Photo is from last fall in Cancun Mexico, its me at one of the local restaurants and notice the waiter with the Margarita skyscraper, six stories high and he never dropped one.

3)      My spirit animal would be the Wolf. They are strong, determined, and ferociously loyal to their pack.

4)      Gin and tonic, specifically Tanqueray, tonic, and a lime garnish. The perfect refreshing drink for a hot summer evening. 

5)      Family. I’ve been married for four years, and I am very close to my parents and siblings. 

6)      Inquisitive. I’m deeply curious about everything and love learning new things. I’m never hesitant to ask questions of those around me.

7)      Determined. Once I set my mind to accomplish something I will not stop until I have accomplished my task.

8)      Traveler. My wife and I love to travel. We have taken many amazing trips including Tahiti, France, Alaska, and Glacier National Park. 

9)      Competitive. I’m fiercely competitive in everything that I do, including sports, games, and my professional life.

10)   I’m not sure that I have a single question, but I am looking forward to getting more details around the “Level Up” project promoting our personal brand. That is something that I am very interested in, and I look forward to learning more about this.

11)   As a person who suffers from seasonal allergies, I’m looking forward to being able to cough/sneeze and not immediately have peoples’ heads swivel with the concerned look of “COVID” in their eyes.

6) Easy-going – I go with the flow and can enjoy most things. I’m happy to be alive and healthy.

8.       Traveler. I like to travel to different parks.

9.       Gamer. I like to story based role-playing games as a way to relax.

2.       Italy – it is rich and history and a beautiful place to visit.

3.       Sea Turtles – They are mellow and chill, which are two ways I would describe myself. They are also part of what I did my undergraduate research on. 

4.       Rum and coke for sure. Rum always makes me think of pirates and thus the beach and the ocean, which is one of my favorite places to go in general .

5.       Relaxed – I am not one to be stressed very often.

6.       Adventurous – I have been to several countries with Italy and Thailand being my favorite. Hopefully Greece is up next, although who knows when travel with start back up.

7.       Learner – I love school and learning. In addition to this MBA program, I am also learning some Italian and plan to go back to school after completion of this MBA.

8.       Hard-working/Driven – I have a good work ethic and typically spend lots of time working or on school. I have many goals that I want to accomplish and have plans *mostly* laid out for them.

9.       Sportsy – I love sports. I played college tennis, and I love watching and playing most other sports, especially basketball. 

10.   None at this time. I took your intro class, so I understand the structure of the class. 

11.   Traveling! I live in Indiana, and it is not the most exciting place, especially during this time.
